the aircraft

world record setting 2003 Lancair ES

Derived from the award-winning, world record setting Lancair IV, the ES is the result of nearly 10 years of research, innovation and pilot input. These visionary, four-place aircraft have it all; high climb rate, long endurance, slow landing speed, premium comfort, all packaged in a very elegant, streamlined design. They can haul a load with speed that is unmatched (150 – 170 kts) for a simple, fixed gear aircraft. What’s more – easy to fly.

Marjan VEDLIN

I started flying when I was 17 years old, starting on gliders.

I started my lessons on Cessna 172, transferred to owned Cessna 177 RG (retractable), which I sold, as I wanted something even faster.

My first long range trip was from Slovenia to Georgia -trip that took 5 days (due weather), and covering a bit less than 2.000NM in total.

Last year I ferried a plane form Finland to Slovenia in 3 days. Only me. No passengers.
